Location for this role will be at one of the following branches: Robertsdale, Foley, or Eastern Shore
Starting hourly pay for this position will be $19
As a Member Advisor, you will be the face of the Credit Union and enhance the lives of our members! Through exceptional service and a consultative approach, you will assist our members with an array of requests, from making a deposit, to opening new accounts, or applying for a loan while educating members on the digital benefits Pen Air has to offer. As a result of the relationships developed, our members rely on you for professional advice to help them succeed on their financial journey. When it comes to more specialized financial needs of our members, our relationships with multiple business partners across the Credit Union allow us to further assist our members in achieving their goals. At Pen Air, we take your career growth seriously and partner with our Learning and Development Team to ensure you are prepared to succeed in your role as a Member Advisor.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
Minimum two (2) years of financial institution experience in member service or cash operations or comparable experience in cash handling, customer service, or sales experience.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills
Ability to change focus efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ability to manage multiple priorities, ability to conduct a needs-based dialogue, ability to use multiple applications on a computer simultaneously, ability to utilize knowledge and resources to effectively problem solve and make sound decisions, willingness to learn and engage in ongoing training and professional development, strong member service focus, strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Physical Requirements
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds to transfer money and coins. Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
