Role:
Provides credit decisions on all consumer loans, including secured and unsecured loans and lines of credit, credit cards, and direct and indirect auto loans. Reviews all relevant data in order to make loan decisions. Analyzes and decisions all consumer loan applications presented via branch, telephone, internet, direct lending, and indirect lending channels.

Analyzes consumer credit applications to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Clearly communicates credit decisions to branches, members, or dealer partners.

Assists employees, members, and dealer partners with questions regarding the credit union’s loan programs.

Identifies cross sell opportunities and communicates recommended products to members and/or internal partners.

Provides superior customer service levels to members, internal partners and dealer partners.

Responsible for assisting in the resolution of loan related issues for internal partners, members, or dealer partners

Remains informed of current trends and regulations in consumer lending.

Performance Measurements: *
1.
Provide prompt and accurate service to all members, organizational employees, and indirect dealership partners by processing, decisioning, and communicating loan decisions within an average of 15 minutes.
2.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, lending regulations and internal policies and procedures. Achieve a minimum QA rating above designated goal, on a monthly basis Complete and pass all required compliance courses on an annual basis.
3.
Maintain a 60-day delinquency rate at or below designated goal for employee’s loan portfolio.
4.
Maintain a charge-off rate less than the designated goal for employee’s loan portfolio.
5.
Cross-Selling applicable PAFCU products and services.
6.
Regular and reliable attendance
7.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Pen Air Core Values.

Knowledge and Skills: *
Experience
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm. Weekend and/or holidays as assigned.
