What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boiler Operator position at Pen Bay Medical Center?
Pen Bay Medical Center has an immediate need for a Boiler Operator to join our operations and maintenance care team. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week night shift position.
Pen Bay Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Care Center, Birth Center, Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center.
- Education: Valid HS diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current Maine driver's license. Preferred valid boiler operator-high pressure steam license. Must be able to obtain State boiler license within 12 months of employment. Preferred experience with diesel generators, plumbing and electrical service
