Description:
Essential Functions:
- Loading/Unloading bulk liquids to from Railcar/ISO Container to Tanker in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
- Ensuring each load is completed to specification within legal limits.
- Spotting railcars over the loading area to connect the cars with the unloading equipment.
- Continuously monitoring the unloading process, while safely operating manual unloading gates, air valves and blowers.
- Adhering to company safety policies and performing work in a safe manner.
- Cleaning all areas of the terminal and grounds and obtaining daily/weekly samples.
Basic & Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the United States
- Must have a valid drivers’ license.
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods, and must be able to work while sitting, bending, twisting and/or climbing many flights of stairs.
- Must be able to work at heights, in enclosed of confined spaces, near water, work around moving equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work independently, without constant supervision.
- Experience in working in an industrial setting.
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate extreme temperatures.
- Frequently required to: walk and climb, walk long distances and perform clean-up of spilled materials.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience in moving/coordinating like freight (bulk commodities) either via rail or truck.
Salary : $41,500 - $52,600
