Team Description:
Pendo is seeking a transformational VP of marketing to lead and grow our marketing efforts in EMEA. As the VP of marketing, you will own the entire EMEA marketing strategy for a fast-growing business that’s expanding internationally.
The ideal candidate is driven, collaborative, metrics focused, and experienced in building an EMEA marketing strategy while collaborating with North American counterparts.
You’ll be responsible for setting and executing an integrated marketing plan that tailors programs, messaging and creative for regional impact. In addition to being a world-class marketer with experience overseeing demand, field, and brand marketing, you need to be seen as a trusted peer to revenue, customer success and operations executives as well as an inspirational manager to a high-performing London-based team. Strong candidates are self-motivated in understanding the business’s needs and how marketing can support Pendo’s journey as we continue to grow our EMEA business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Stategise with our GTM, ops and data teams to generate high-converting pipeline across the entire EMEA region, balancing EMEA-wide and country level campaigns
- Design and drive campaigns, nurturing programs, field events, advertising, webinars and partner marketing programs for EMEA
- Imagine and bring to life creative brand awareness programs, leveraging resources including Mind the Product (a Pendo company), an in-region PR firm, and the company’s brand and data sciences teams in North America.
- Work closely with the North American teams and help drive the company’s overall marketing and messaging strategy alongside opening new markets in Europe
- Establish and maintain a regular reporting cadence of key metrics for the entire EMEA region and in individual countries
- Own a budget and be the driver of a portion of the pipeline of the EMEA operation through a demand generation strategy that leverages digital, physical, events, and advocacy marketing efforts
- Think strategically, acting as a trusted advisor to the regional GM
- Partner with product marketing team on product launches and determine how best to infuse into EMEA campaigns
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of B2B SaaS campaign marketing
- Experience building a pan-EMEA B2B SaaS marketing team, ideally for a US-based company
- Rich experience in inbound marketing, event marketing, ABM, content marketing, social strategy (organic & paid), lead nurturing, martech, audience targeting, advertising, content syndication, email and SEM
- Excellent communication project management skills to influence, leverage, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success
- Deep analytical skill set to identify insights and optimize execution of campaigns/programs
- Strong proficiency in SFDC, Marketo and Looker
- Excellent people management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in French or German is a plus

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in London is £140,000 - £170,000.
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
