Recruitment and Housing Manager
SUMMARY
The Recruitment and Housing Manager will manage ensure that our Resort attracts and hires the best Associates, while growing a strong talent pipeline. They will ensure housing is given
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruitment
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Onboard new Associates in order to become fully integrated
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Manage all tasks related to job fairs and hiring events
- Manage and maintain all processes related to the recruitment budget
- Train new managers in the applicant tracking system
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Housing
- Ensure property is taken care of and maintenance issues are corrected in a timely manner.
- Schedule yearly deep cleaning
- Maintain key inventory for all rooms and properties.
- Conduct regular walk throughs of the property to ensure cleanliness and to report any damages.
- Maintain a respectful, appropriate and professional demeanor during all interactions with residents
- Maintain and enforce the housing rules, policies and procedures
- Address and document (when necessary) any resident behavior that is inappropriate or in violation of policy.
- Maintain regular communication with Director of People concerning facility and resident issues.
- Accurately perform all assignment/occupancy tasks to maintain accountability for residents (i.e. inventories, check-in/outs, occupancy counts, etc.)
- Assist with check-in/check-out of residents and room inspections. Balancing rent deductions and all associated financial information with Payroll
- Conduct housing orientations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a recruiter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with people from very diverse backgrounds, cultures and within all levels of the organization
- Hands on experience with various selection processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must possess a positive attitude
- Well versed in the recruitment life cycle as it relates to Human Resources
- Strong understanding of international recruiting requirements
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office and Internet navigation
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Travel within and out of the United States is required
PREFERRED
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources or as a Recruiter
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Previous luxury hotel experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
