Job Description & Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you are responsible for executing the full process for project bids and proposal opportunities. Steps include conducting a scope review, formulating the best design/offering, creating the take-off in Bluebeam, retrieving vendor quotes, completing the bid package to include a formal proposal, and uploading all pertinent documents into Building Connected. Estimators are responsible for maintaining Building Connected data and ensuring it is kept up to date on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for follow-through and follow-up with clients. Lastly, you will be asked to hold yourself accountable to our standard of excellence while exemplifying the company standards.
Qualifications:
- Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in Bluebeam Revu, Procore, & Building Connected a plus.
- Proactive attitude, showing initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing job requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong blueprint/ plan reading skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Construction industry
