Penn Pharmacy is looking for a smart, reliable, friendly, and honest Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team.

Job summary:
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for serving customers and accurately billing for and dispensing prescription medication with the support of technicians. He/She is also expected to dispense medication ready for pick up, answer phone calls, perform administrative tasks, assist with merchandising responsibilities, such as stocking, pricing, and keeping the store neat, clean, and organized.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Provides prompt, courteous customer service
- Processes prescription medication and verification
- Ensures customers receive medication on time by following up on refills and problem RXs
- Communicating with medical professionals about patients and their medications
- Listening to patients’ reports of symptoms and provide suggestions for over-the-counter medications
- Accurately measuring, preparing, and distributing proper medications to the patients that need them
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Keeping track of prescription inventory
- Performs all duties with minimal supervision; may be required to attend job-related meetings and performs other duties as assigned
Hours:
Business Hours: Monday-Friday 9.00am - 7.00pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 5.00pm
Required work hours are flexible - all candidates are encouraged to apply and discuss their availabilities with management.
Minimum education/licenses:
Licensed Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey
Requirements:
- Computer Proficiency
- Excellent Typing Speed
- Ability to Operate a Cash Register
- Ability to Work Extended Hours and/or Weekends
- Attentiveness to Detail Good Communication Skills
- Understanding of Pharmacy Law
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Fluency in Portuguese preferred
- Experience with Prescription Billing
- Familiarity with Micro Merchant Systems pharmacy software preferred
- Certified immunizer in the State of New Jersery

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour (depends on experience and commitment)
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 7 hour shift
- Monday to Friday (flexible)
- Alternating weekend availability (preferred)
