Engineering Project Leader, Water Conservation

We have an opportunity for a Engineering Project Leader, Water Conservation to join our Engineering and Social Responsibility team. You will identify, scope and execute projects related to water conservation, including reduction of use, recycling and reuse. You will deliver water sustainability projects for Pentair for the Consumer Solutions Segment in North America, as you execute on the delivery of multiple water infrastructure development projects, monitor operational efficiency metrics, and build in system resiliency after project hand-off to regional operations teams. You will: Partner with Engineering, Social Responsibility and Operations to identify opportunities with most significant impact to Pentair’s global water footprint and with the most opportunity for water conservation and to develop and implement solutions to address opportunities according to timeline and budget Identify opportunities to use Pentair product in water recycling and reuse projects. Partner with Social Responsibility and Corporate Communications to communicate the success of these projects and highlight Pentair technology in the achievement of water conservation targets Identify optimal design criteria for scaling projects to full-scale deployment across all applicable global Pentair locations. Provide guidance and expertise to facility leaders managing smaller, local projects Partner with Social Responsibility to maintain accurate disclosure documentation for executed projects and ensure water reduction metrics are current and correct for the organization Monitor implementation and support testing/validation of systems during installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment equipment and associated mechanical system Up to 25% travel as needed for project execution where authorized Key Qualifications: 10 years’ experience leading industrial process design, with preference for experience facilitating water conservation evaluation and industrial process water use mapping Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Chemical/Environmental Engineering Able to carry design concepts from exploration and development through deployment and scalable implementation Strong understanding of water use in manufacturing processes, including product testing, R&D, and laboratory environments, as well as building infrastructure water equipment such as cooling towers, heat exchangers, air handling units, or air economizers Analytical mindset that can identify gaps in requirements during project development, predict performance, and Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks from multiple requestors of all levels and being strategic in making critical decisions Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer Diversity and Inclusion: With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
