What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at People Architects?
People Architect is excited to partner with a local company for their search for a new Office Manager. This is a one of a kind opportunity to work for a wonderful small firm (under 10 people on staff) who works very hard at ensuring their employees and customers are happy.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively run the office. They should also possess a friendly demeanor and have a servant leader mindset.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping/Finance:
- Maintain payroll administration (Intuit desktop QuickBooks software) as well as perform standard bookkeeping.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports and deposits to local, state and federal agencies.
- Partner with CPA for annual corporate tax process and filing.
Human Resources:
- Recruiting, boarding, compensation, manage safety training, update company handbook as needed, projects such as research retirement and health plans. Maintain compliance with all OSHA, insurance, and municipality regulations.
Operations:
- Manage mail, phone, and email; calendar management, company events; assisting with travel plans, maintain stock of all office supplies and order office, shop, and field expendables; organize and update paper and digital files.
- Oversee advertising and the social media-marketing plan
- Manage compliance for company and vehicle insurance, workers compensation, local registrations, licenses and permits.
Requirements:
- Public Notary or be willing to become one.
- Have a passion for wanting to help and assist.
- Be knowledgeable on HR policies and procedures.
- 5 years experience doing payroll and office management experience.
