What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR SPECIALIST position at PEOPLE INC.?
The primary responsibility will be to manage new hire data entry and ensure all information is put into the database in an accurate and timely manner. This position is also responsible for the management of the agency’s current driving policy. Responsible for ensuring confidentiality is strictly maintained concerning all agency related information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the new hire data entry process
- Verify and collect Form I-9 supporting documentation at new employee orientation
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations surrounding I9 compliance
- Review and analyze new hire driving abstracts received from the DMV
- Manage employee compliance with the agency’s driving policy
- Update employee related vehicle registration documents
- Removing agency access to termed employee fingerprint results in the Justice Center Database
- Complete current employee file audits to ensure compliance with agency and state regulations
- Assistance with the agency’s annual DSP Recognition Week
- Analysis of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Review and process new affiliate employee files
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED and 2-3 years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Salary : $36,400 - $46,100
