PeopleReady of Eau Claire has an immediate opening for Cheese Packagers in Fall Creek, WI.As a Picker and Packer, you are responsible for pulling and preparing orders for shipment. This may involve moving inventory and helping with team reorganization efforts.We are hiring for the following shifts:2/2/3 Day Shift - 6am-6pm (WEEK ONE: Mon & Tues WORK, Wed & Thurs OFF, Fri, Sat, Sun WORK......WEEK TWO: Mon & Tues OFF, Wed & Thurs WORK, Fri, Sat, Sun OFF ) $19/hr 2/2/3 Night Shift - 6pm-6am (WEEK ONE: Mon & Tues WORK, Wed & Thurs OFF, Fri, Sat, Sun WORK......WEEK TWO: Mon & Tues OFF, Wed & Thurs WORK, Fri, Sat, Sun OFF ) $21/hr Mon-Thurs - 8pm-6am (10 hour shifts) $20/hr Mon-Fri 10pm-6am (8 hour shifts) $20/hr Weekends Fri, Sat, Sun 6am-6pm (3 12-hour shifts) $19/hr These are temp-to-hire positions. People seeking long-term employment are highly encouraged to apply!Shift Timings - All Available. ResponsibilitiesWill be working in a refrigerated environment packaging and shipping cheese to local and national businesses.Pull and prepare orders for shipment, delivering the proper paperwork, packaging, and quantity for each order to the required destination in shipping and receiving.Perform merchandise scan-ins, and other required quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order while tracking inventory for the company.Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team depending on order size and daily staffing needs.Ensure the warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times by yourself and your teammates.Provide dependable, shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate's shift. QualificationBackground Check RequiredDrug Screen RequiredMust have some basic computer experience.Must be able to walk, bend, lift, reach and stoop, and stand for various amounts of time during shift.Must be able to lift 50lbs.Dependable daily attendance and ability to meet productivity goals.Strong organizational work.Detail-oriented.Prior warehouse experienced preferred but not required.
