Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for framing, installing drywall, and finishing concrete surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate framing and installation of drywall.
- Build and install wall frames, floor joists, and roof trusses according to plan specifications.
- Install drywall and finish surfaces to a high standard.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks, including finishing and polishing.
- Install plaster and other finishing materials as required.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to site rules and regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
- Collaborate with other members of the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Experience in framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Proficiency in the operation of power tools and heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with plaster and other finishing materials is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
