Summary: Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to recipes. Ensure food is cooked properly.
Primary duties:
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
- Fry, bake, roast, broil, and steam food that will be served that day.
- Prepare food required for dinner, such as buffalo wings and cutting up fries in serving size cups.
- Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
- Season and cook food according to recipes.
- Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Clean the required number of cases of chicken daily.
- Keep station and kitchen organized and clean during operation.
- Clean the inside fryer by draining oil, cleaning off coil, and dipping crumbs out of the bottom of the tray.
- Maintain composure in a way that creates a positive image for the company and for the staff.
- Notify management of food or beverage shortages.
- Follow all Company policy and procedures.
- Follow all rules and regulations regarding proper food safety.
- Help in putting away stock in assigned storage areas.
- Regular and timely attendance.
Secondary Duties:
- Serve food to customers
- Run cash register, accept payment and make change for customers
- Change CO2 tank as needed.
- Change light in heating lamp.
- Change napkins in automatic dispenser.
- Fill chicken breading, meal, and sugar bins.
- Assist cleaning dishes.
- Cleans bathrooms.
- Sweeps kitchen.
- Attend all meetings and seminars required by the Company.
- All other duties as assigned or required
- Assist with evisceration’s production dinner

Physical Demands
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs ( -20%) of the time
- Frequent standing/walking/climbing ( -90%)of the time
- Frequent reaching/handling/feeling ( -70%) of the time
- Frequent use of finger dexterity ( 70%) of the time.
Experience:
- Prior cook experience preferred. Must be professional, polite, and reliable.
Other Skills/Ability:
- Open and flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Able to obtain ServSafe certification.
