What are the responsibilities and job description for the Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator position at Pepperdine University?
The Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the Associate Provost, and general office coordination and support to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE). The incumbent will be expected to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The incumbent should possess the ability to balance multiple priorities and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This position reports directly to the Associate Provost.
Duties
- Provide administrative assistance and support to the Associate Provost.
- Provide office coordination and general clerical duties for the OIE.
- Coordinate and support OIE events, workshops, and special projects.
- Assist with budget, purchasing, and processing.
- Assist with OmniUpdate (OU) campus for the OIE website.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including OIE research support.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree. Two or more years of office administrative experience. Time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and pay high attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion. Strong organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to problem-solve and work effectively with minimal supervision. Experience/proficiency in MS Office Suite and G-Suite.
Preferred: Experience with Pepperdine management and finance systems in Wavenet.
