Responsibilities
- Support & lead a team of Payroll Administrators to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
- Provide coaching and advice relative to labor and employee relations matters as well as the administration, interpretation and application of the collective agreement and company policies
- Establish strong relationships with the management team as well as front line employees.
- Assist managers and the Canada East HR team with resolving labor and employee relations issues.
- Act as SAP/MyHR systems support for Employees and Managers as required
- Ensure accuracy of employee data within SAP and EC
- Provide pay/benefits issue resolution by liaising with the appropriate teams within the organization
- Support & lead Kronos Administrator efficiency
- Oversee the execution of disability management programs (Short- and Long-Term Disability, Worker's Compensation)
- Establish strong relationships with the management team as well as front line employees.
- Support National HR Core Process projects and HR analytics (reporting)
- Participate in projects and lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Support HR team with special projects
- Talent Acquisition Coordinator Backup
Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected Compensation range for this position is between $40,000 - $63,800
• Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment
- College diploma required in Business or Human Resources, Bachelor's Degree an asset
- Demonstrated experience with payroll & benefits administration
- Knowledge of HR and Payroll Systems: Kronos, SAP, MyHR, Kenexa
- Proven analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution and coaching skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills in a constantly changing, dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make informed decisions
