The Sr. District Sales Manager has the responsibility for daily management, training, customer account resolution, marketing/sales/product supply support and field communication for the FSD SCSR Team. The FSD SCSR Team process $1B in annual revenue for the PepsiCo Foodservice Division. The team processes over 40,000 orders annually, with an average order value of over $20,000.
The Sr. District Sales Manager has responsibility for daily management, training, customer account resolution, marketing/sales/product supply support and field communication support for all LOBs (FPQTGNIS) for Foodservice Distributors across the Frito-Lay, QTGNI, Chilled and PepsiCo Networks.
In total, the Sr. District Sales Manager has responsibility for supporting $1B in annual revenue for the PepsiCo Foodservice Division.
The Sr. District Sales Manager reports to the PepsiCo Foodservice FSD Customer Service Director. This position requires organizational and developmental skills as well as strong upper management potential.
Responsibilities
MANAGEMENT
- The Sr. District Sales Manager will be responsible for 6-9 Key Sales Customer Service Representatives (SCSRs) and three Sr. District Sales Leaders. The Sr. District Sales Manager is also responsible for defining FSD team objectives and strategy to achieve goals with focus on developing the their individual skills.
- Manage CAPS program that includes Keying Accuracy, Quality, Upsells and Reliability goals that directly relate to sales and operations volume and profit plans.
- Manage Genesys and emailtopia systems. Analyze system reports to manage and distribute volume to SCSRs while delivering optimal respoinse times.
- Manage distribution of workload, in fast paced customer service environment volumes, call volume, plant efficiencies.
- MBS liasion with supporting Frito-Lay CSR network
- Effectively develop frontline organization capabilities
- Own PMP (PDRs, Mid-Years)
- Interpret and administer all corporate personnel policies
- Maintain high morale and low turnover
OPERATIONS
The Sr. District Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining the SCSR Team’s order entry systems within the department and coordination of reports.
- Develop/refine operational procedures
- Maintain SharePoint site with SOPs, communications, allocations, etc.
- Manage elevated customer service issues.
- Maintain ACCESS Database/ SAP/ Siebel
- Maintain and coordinate periodic reports as directed by management
- Understand and utilize ACD (inbound/outbound call) capabilities
- Coordinate implementation of programs and policy changes
- Prepare requested documentation for management
- Utilize SAP/Tableau reports to communicate inventory positions to sales and the SCSR Team
- Partner with Frito-Lay, BIB and QTGI Product Supply Managers to communicate Product Availability (disco’s, new product introductions, allocations etc.) to sales and the SCSR Team
- Partner with Co-Packer Product Supply Managers to communicate Innovation Product Availability (disco’s, new product introductions, allocations etc.) to sales and the SCSR Team
MARKETING/SALES SUPPORT
The Sr. District Sales Manager will actively seek new ways or refinements to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.
- Support the First Focus Calendar
- Successfully support the division in its effort to achieve sales plan
- Identify opportunities in sales and service to impact national volume
- Communicate with plant personnel in coordination of distribution issues
- Coordinate sales incentive programs for SCSR staff
- Communicate divisional product promotions to SCSRs and encourage increased sales by suggestive selling techniques
MAJOR CHALLENGES:
- Supply chain constraints related to production, forecasting and carrier opportnunities
- Achieve established accuracy, service level and sales goals
- Provide effective motivation and skills/career development for SCSRs
- Continued refinement of GTM process and procedures to achieve the best customer experience possible
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $ 165,150 based on a full-time schedule
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum five years experience with knowledge of supply chain and/or customer service
- Effectively lead teams through change management
- Strong analytical skills with experence in Tablean/PowerBI
- Strong communication and prioritization skills
- Supervisory/ Management experience preferred
