Business Process Manager

Responsibilities

This program will be responsible for supplying personal computers (PCs), including laptops, thin clients, and desktops for a large federal financial agency. This includes the acquisition, imaging, warehousing, distribution and servicing of the equipment thousands of new employees every year. The client expects the vendor to increase automation and self-service capabilities and reduce the time it takes to introduce new or innovative technology solutions. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for implementing and administering the program’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and coordinating ongoing process improvement initiatives resulting from information develop under the QASP.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

Assists the program manager in implementing organizational processes and best practices. Requires an expertise in managing operations, help desk, and maintenance programs, quality assurance teams, and process improvement initiatives. Must be able to implement and maintain a Customer Satisfaction Program; regularly meets with customers and obtains feedback via face-to-face meetings and/or online customer satisfaction surveys. Performs SWOTs as appropriate. Manages the performance of project evaluations, gap analyses, audits, and action plans. Responsible for program process improvement initiatives. Manages the development and/or modification of processes, procedures, templates, and other process artifacts for organizational process improvement efforts.

Responsible for tracking and reporting program Service Level Agreements (SLA) and other program performance data and of status reporting to senior management for all process improvement, QA, and customer satisfaction activities. Oversees knowledgebase content creation and revisions and manages change process. May perform such other management support functions as planning/scheduling, training and mentorship to personnel, ensuring proper resourcing, and status reporting to senior management.

 

Demonstrated experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change. Provides process engineering technical support expertise to production activities and plant projects to improve unit operations. Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Performs supply chain analyses and develops related recommendations. Uses analyses to develop recommended operational improvements, lowering costs and improving customer service. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9004. Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e. use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in managing quality assurance, process improvement, performance reporting and/or similar functions.  Additional relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2-3 years of supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in interfacing with government designated representatives.
• Must be able to identify and communicate program risks and recommend mitigation.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Range for Posting

Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
