Responsibilities
This position will serve as the Change Management Consultant II - TSA IMPACT II. It provides a single point of contact and is responsible for coordinating all change functions between Peraton and TSA change management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily change management team review and approval of RFC (Request for Change) maintenance and application deployment tickets.
- Verifies adherence to government change management and maintenance policies and procedures.
- Receive, log, and initially prioritize RFCs, in collaboration with the initiator, release management, engineering, and Peraton management
- Circulate all RFCs in accordance with the TSA change management process for review and approval
- Properly schedule, record and report on RFCs in order to provide the most comprehensive and correct status of all changes
- Update the change log to reflect all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to opportunities to improve service quality.
- Review all implemented RFCs to ensure that they have met their objectives. Refer any that have been backed out or have failed to the initiator or other appropriate responsible party.
- Review all outstanding RFCs awaiting consideration or awaiting action.
- Properly close and record implemented RFCs in a timely manner consistent with TSA change management policy
- Take part in producing regular and accurate management reports on TSA RFCs as required by contract
- Interact closely with IT operation delivery teams, project managers, solution engineers and government counterparts to ensure approved scheduled maintenance is completed
- Interact with the customer on an as needed basis regarding change management
Required Skillsets
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain an entry on duty security clearance
- 5 years’ experience in change management
- Strong understanding of change, release, and configuration management, and their interaction
- Knowledge of client business environment and requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and use of judgment
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed work environment/self-starter
Qualifications
BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10 or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain DHS EOD
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible for an Entry On Duty or Public Trust Clearance
- Knowledge of BMC Remedy and its ticketing system
- Knowledge of SharePoint
- Possess an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations 4 certification or the ability to obtain one

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $40,000 Salary Mid: $80,000 Salary Maximum: $100,000 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
