Configuration Management Analyst

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking to identify a Configuration Management Analyst to support our customer ONSITE in Dahlgren, VA

Telework in not allowed with this position. 

 

Must be U.S. Citizen and hold an active/current fully adjudicated DoD Secret clearance

 

The Configuration Management Analyst will:

• Establish and maintains configuration and data management policies and procedures to be utilized by department personnel and other participating functions to ensure a standard and cost effective approach to the application of configuration and data management requirements. 
• Analyzes changes to product specifications to determine the effect on the end product and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change control.
• Designs and establishes configuration management documentation.
• Authorizes the release of drawings, schedules and system configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups through the Request For Change process.
• Operates configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and auditing. 
• Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new configuration management baseline operating parameters are documented, comply with standard configurations, and are logistically sustainable. 
• Works with standard commercial software products used for configuration management (e.g. DOORS, JSMART, etc.).

Qualifications

BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10

• Active/Current DoD Secret clearance.
• In lieu of a degree 8 years of experiene can be substituted
• Hands on / strong experience with configuration data management, pulling and manipulation data
• Strong attention to detail
• Creating numerous reports with accuracy for the customer
• Experience with providing meeting support including coordinating meetings, preparing and distributing agendas and minutes and generating and maintaining action items.
• Experience using the Navy's Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) database preferred.
• Familiarity with importing and exporting files and manipulation of data in Microsoft Excel.
• Data analysis experience also preferred.
• Well organized, self motivated and self directed, able to work independently as well with other team members for effective and efficient task completion.
• Strong attention to detail and self-starter who requires litte guidance to complete the assigned tasks.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
