What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Test Engineering Lead position at Peraton?
Responsibilities
The Test Engineering Team Lead will guide a small team charged with executing ad hoc tasks at the direction of the Government. The types of tasks may range from creating a special test environment or scenario to devising and implementing solutions to discovered defects. The team will peform functional testing, digital forensics, and tradecraft assessments. The Lead will review and provide feedback on test plans, test procedures, reports user manuals, and other developer-provided documents. The Team Lead will mentor their team of test engineers in field testing and operations testing to ensure proper evaluation of testing targets.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or other technical relevant field of study with 12-15 years of experience, 10-13 years with an MS, and 10 years with a Phd.
- TS/SCI with Poly level clearance is required
- Demonstrated experience performing functional testing, digital forensic analysis, or pre-operation tradecraft assessments
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, and providing feedback on tool-developer provided test plans, procedures, reports, user manuals, and other artifacts
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and mentor other test engineers
Desired qualifications:
- Certification in one or more of the following: CEH, GCFA, GREM
- Demonstrated experience working with or in the IC
- Demonstrated experiene leading teams performing technical tasks
- Demonstrated experience communicating technical information to technical and non-technical audiences

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
