Peraton's National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit has a need for an experienced Funcational Analyst/Tester to support its SITE III BES contract charged with the orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of applications that focus on the business functions (Acquisition, Training, Security, Human Resources) which facilitate critical administrative services across the Defense Intelligence Agency's entire global workforce. The SITE III BES contract is designed to establish and ensure a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the supported agency directorates and branches. Our support team applies best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, DevSecOps and platform integration to develop, sustain and continually evolve the enterprise business systems environment, systems integration and back-end business process workflows.
Position Description:
Peraton is seeking a Functional Analyst/Tester to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area to provide large scale development, testing, deployment and O&M for the Intelligence Community. The selected candidate will provide Functional Analyst/Tester services in support of enterprise-enabled Java web applications used throughout various environments and domains. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and identifying, application-level problems
- Collaborate with functional owners in preparing prototypes, user guides, test cases, use case scenarios, supporting production environments and maintaining test and systems plans, scripts and documentation
- Collaborate with functional subject matter experts to develop and write functional design and specifications
- Gather requirements through interaction with multiple customers of the LMS solution across the IC
- Perform research on existing systems and procedures and make recommended solutions when necessary
- Prioritize user and functional requirements
- Troubleshoot and complete problem reports in a detailed manner
- Develop and maintain functional requirements
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Develop and maintain user guides
- Develop test cases/plans and user case scenarios
- Develop and maintain test procedures to verify functional requirements
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices showing tracings from functional requirements to test cases
- Perform requirements analysis and execute and debug test cases
- Participate in meetings as required
Qualifications
BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any computer, engineering, or technical discipline with at least 5-7 years of experience, Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience
- Ability to obtain or eligibility for TS/SCI clearance adjudication
- Must be ORGANIZED, a SELF-STARTER with the ability to grasp new concepts and applications
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines to meet application deployments
- Must be Proficient using Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) and Software testing
- Must have proven experience with the various aspects of Software Development or Agile Life Cycle such as equipment, inspection, code review, integration, verification, regression, acceptance testing, project initiation, planning, development, and production
- Must be proficient with MS Office tools
- Experience with at least some of the following applications: JIRA, Service Central, SharePoint
- Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
