Responsibilities
Peraton’s Property Administration Team is responsible for the full lifecycle of Government Property Management. The Peraton Property Team is involved with property from Proposal Stage to Property Closeout and provide guidance and direction to the program management and staff, as well as maintain and update Property policies and procedures.
We are seeking a candidate that has experience managing property owned by the US Government and various customers, overseeing contract property requirements, and providing support for Government/DCMA and Customer On-Site & Limited Surveys. Will ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards, candidate must have a clear understanding of property compliance requirements to include FAR, DFAR and DCMA Guidebook for Government Contract Property Administration and updates. The successful candidate will be required to assist or direct property operations during a PMSA or internal audit.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable federal regulations
- Building relationships with various functional departments and management
- Works to maintain Government-approved Property Business System fully compliant with Government, customer and contractual requirements, as well as relevant policies and procedures
- Assisting programs with establishing processes based on contract, customer and Peraton requirement
- Creating and Updating Government Property Records
- Utilizing Government reporting systems (PIEE)
- Provides supervisory management to junior property team members
- Preparing and providing training to functional departments and programs
- Analyzes data and data collections strategies to maximize efficiency and to ensure the integrity of property records
- Perform other duties as assigned or as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of Government Property Management
- Current Certified Professional Property Manager or able to obtain within a year
- Minimum High School diploma or GED
- Experience reading and comprehending government contract
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze data
- Self-starter and takes initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively
- MS Office Suite (including PowerBI, a plus)
- Experience with UNISON CLM (a plus, not required)
- Experience with Costpoint (a plus, not required)
- Experience with AssetSmart (a plus, not required)
