Responsibilities
The Global Health and Financial Solutions team is currently seeking a IT Asset Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be onsite and located in Washington D.C. This role will be responsible for daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware, including planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization.
- Plans, monitors, and records software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Monitor and report on software license agreements, software maintenance, and hardware warranty/parts agreements associated with critical infrastructure systems in accordance with SLAs.
- Assists in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization.
- Develops and implements procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.
- Properly decommission, sanitize, and dispose of surplus equipment in accordance with customer disposal requirements.
- Perform an annual reconciliation of the customer's accountable IT assets between the GFE ITAM system and the HHS Property Management Information System (PMIS).
- Develop and maintain a Software and Hardware Inventory Report, and Licenses Renewals and Tracking Procedures for each software license and/or maintenance classification.

Qualifications Required:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years, Master's degree with 3-5 years, PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
- 5 years of experience with the following experience:
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Hardware procurement
- Hardware inventory management processes (e.g., receiving, asset-tagging, disposals, and swaps)
- Software audits and auditing processes.
- Software spending/budgeting processes.
- Software license procurement.
- Software license reconciliation processes.
- Software license reclamation processes.
- Various Software licensing models (e.g., traditional by user/by workstation models, and newer).
- BYO to cloud or SaaS subscription models.
- ServiceNow ITAM.
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
- Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Discovery.
- Configuration management database (CMDB)
- Must hold U.S. Citizenship or have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a (T4) position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Possess any (1) of the following certifications:
- IAITAM (International Association of IT Asset Managers) certifications: CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager), CAMP (Certified Asset Management Professional), CHAMP (Certified Hardware Management Professional), CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager), Institute of Asset Management (IAM), Certificate or Diploma.
- ServiceNow certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management, Certified Implementation Specialist - Software Asset Management, and/or Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery.
- After 6 months, Tele-work oppertunities may be available.
Qualifications Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field.
- Multiple certifications with ServiceNow.
- Current (T4) Position of Public Trust Clearance (or higher).
- Prior experience with HHS and/or the Office of Inspector General customer, is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic work environment, often juggling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
