Responsibilities

Provide direct Supply Support at assigned site location. Assist the Property Manager with themaintenance of records and control of all Company Owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP) atassigned TARS site in accordance with applicable company procedures or government regulations. Thisposition maintains records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held and disposed;coordinates property transfers; conducts periodic property inventories; and prepares reports of propertystatus. Assist with the investigation and reports all cases of loss, damage or destruction of Companyowned or Government property. Maintain site property inventory (GFE, TMDE, SPV, SPARES, CONSUMABLES, etc.) records andperform data base research and updates as applicable in accordance with policy and proceduresto meet contract requirements. Issue, Receive and Ship items as necessary to support TARS Operations and Maintenance effortfollowing approved processes. Track shipments to ensure delivery and verify proper documentation in DS7i is accomplished. Processes purchase requisitions and purchase order receipts. Review DS7i requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications. Perform procurement activities using invoice process and assigned Company Purchasing Card(PCARD) following established guidelines. Maintain, update, file, and retrieve purchase records. Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gatherinformation about products to be ordered. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best value amongpotential suppliers. Contact vendors in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed orlate deliveries, and other problems. Inspect shipments for damage and validate accuracy against purchase requisition and packing listto ensure goods meet specifications. Make appropriate database updates. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned area. Collateral duties may require qualifications to support Launch and Recovery activities. Follows up with shipments to insure proper documentation in DS7i is accomplished. Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer process. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Banding Machine, Label Maker & Computer. PPE use (hardhat, gloves,safety boots, face shield), HazMat use- handling unopened bulk material.WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse, exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather. Candidates must be willing and able to work various work shifts as assigned.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted. Work requires the ability to perform the following physical activities: walking, standing, stooping,bending, twisting, crawling, reaching, lifting, sitting, and squatting. Work may require walking,standing, sitting and working in confined spaces or at high elevations for extended periods of time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school or GED Diploma required. Certifications must be attained/maintained as assigned. Successfully completed Background Investigation with a Favorable Suitability Determinationpreferred.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year Logistics experience required. Database management experience required. Must be experienced in basic purchasing/receiving procedures. Candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, have excellent verbal and written skills, haverecords maintenance experience, inventory management experience and be team oriented. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills. Valid U.S. Driver’s license required. Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English fluently. Proof of U.S. residency required.SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a position of public trust.
