Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to lead the service engineering team, organized as Scrum Teams, to collaborate on the design of IT services to satisfy enterprise requirements. The scrum teams plan, design, engineer, and deliver service-related artifacts. Responsibilities include:
- Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
- Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.
- Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline.
- Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
- Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
- Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
- Ensure that team members understand project objectives.
- Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
- Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
- Facilitates an agile development team.
- Develop and manage Agile Scrum Artifacts and Reports
Qualifications
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
- Prior experience on a scrum team
- Experience managing information technology development projects
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of Project Management practices
- Proven ability to use MS Project to manage projects
- Demonstrated experience in agile development and production environment
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE)
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility
- PMP, Scrum Master, and/or Agile certification desired
- ITIL Foundations certification desired
- Experience with ServiceNow desired

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
