Responsibilities
SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton, performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse.
The Senior Program Manager will assist in the the successful development, implementation, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers (non-tech), in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. . The director manages one or more projects or programs, manages operations, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
What you'll do:
This position entails providing direction to a staff of SGS Core Team and Task Order leadership to perform all tasks within the statement of work defining the government’s expectations to identify and research issues of potential fraud, waste and abuse and the infrastructure necessary to support the contract.
- Provide oversight and direction of strategy to exceed client expectations
- Promote consistent approach to regulatory compliance
- Respond to requests for data and support from external and internal sources.
- Establish goals, objectives and plans for the organization
- Motivate staff and evaluate performance
- Plan resources, set priorities and report unit activity
- Develop, administer, and control a budget
- Administer compensation and other corporate polices
- Identify and oversee subcontractor strategy
- Oversee of the Small Business Plan and Service Contract Act compliance
- Focus on business capture, development, and organizational growth.
- Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
- Acts as a contractual liaison with vendors.
- Assists in proposal process and coordinates with Pricing Department when required. Responsible for all phases of the program performance, financial and contractual requirements.
- May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
- Assign staff and provide direction as necessary to complete task.
- Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding forecasts of program financial performance.
- Ensure deliverables are timely.
- Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree and 12-15 years experience or a Masters degree from an accredited institution plus an additional ten years of related professional experience
- A minimum of fifteen years of professional experience, with at least ten years in healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, or a related private insurance field and ten years working in the Program Integrity field.
- A minimum of ten years in a progressive management capacity with responsibility for managing complex systems and workflows.
- This position requires proven leadership skills and knowledge of the Medicare and Medicaid Program as it pertains to investigation of indications of potential fraud, waste and abuse, federal contracting, and related requirements.
- Experience managing budgets in excess of $25 million per year.
- Ability to develop industry relationships and build solutions integrating partners and new technologies.
- Knowledge of contractual compliance, regulations, finance, and business proposals.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills as well as strong PC skills and knowledge of current technical tools.
- Ability to effectively work independently and as a member of a team.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
