Peraton is seeking an AV/VTC Technician to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC)
This position is onsite in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install, configure, manage, maintain, operate, and defend common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Schedule, coordinate, and administer multiple simultaneous VTC sessions.
- Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by Very Important Persons (VIPs).
- Recommend upgrades to VTC systems.
- Provide version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs.
- Install flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment.
- Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box).
- Manage, maintain, and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures.
- Schedule, configure, and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences.
- Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment.
- Some positions may require a non-traditional work schedule to support the need
Qualifications
- High School level plus some advanced training; Minimum of 3 years
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting VTCs in Government environment, as well as troubleshooting and fixing VTC hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, ViPers, and secure phones).
- Ability to follow procedures under stressful conditions.
- Good Written and Oral Communications skills.
- Maintain, setup, monitor, and troubleshoot video equipment.
- Ability to work closely with senior professionals.
- When required contractor will possess Theater Specific Individual Readiness Training (TSIRT) certifications.
- Certifications: DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II
- DoD TS or above clearance is required

Target Salary Range
