Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for someone to become part of the team as a Software Architect
Located Onsite in San Antonio, TX.
In this role, you will:
- Develop software architecture to efficiently address current and expected requirements and justifies approach with a business value analysis.
- You will provide technical methods, techniques, and concepts that are innovative, practical, cost-effective, and conducive to data infrastructure, software and application development and deployment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 yrs of industry experience with a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or Master’s degree and 8 yrs experience.
- 10 years minimum total relevant experience as Software or Systems Engineer
- Minimum 4 years specifically as an Architect
- Must posses one of the following certifications: CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP Certification
- Prior experience architecting large scale distributed platforms
- Possess an active TS w/SCI eligible security clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile Development (SCRUM, Kibana, etc)
- Experience with Java and Python Programming
- Experience with Artisan Confluence and Jira
- Experience with GITLAB and RESTful

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
