Summary
We are seeking an experienced brand marketing and communications specialist with a background in CPG branding, shopper marketing and public relations.
The director will lead the growth and development of an emerging all-natural pork and beef brand that sells products such as bacon, hot dogs, sausage, fresh pork, etc. at retail and foodservice nationwide. Managing a small, remote team you will have a hybrid work environment with a schedule that balances work from home and in office time. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Office location: Westminster, CO.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Brand management
- Shopper marketing strategy and campaign coordination for multiple retailers
- Vendor management for various shopper marketing and digital asset management partners
- Lead paid search campaigns across various platforms such as Instacart, Citrus and Shipt
- Lead content development across digital, product and in-store channels
- Relationship management with licensed brand teams
- Product development from concept to launch working with cross-functional teammates
- Management of two direct reports who specialize in social media and graphic design
- Champion media relations strategy and execution for both consumer and trade audiences
- Develop and execute strategies and messages to support effective, timely and accurate communications to internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and oversee media outreach and events, including, but not limited to, story pitching, press releases and media materials and media tours
- Weekly interaction and support of the sales team through customer specific marketing initiatives, customer meetings, quarterly broker summit, etc.
- Manage annual budget and work closely with finance and accounting teams to balance
- Produce monthly MarComm reporting to executives that provides clear ROI on efforts
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, and 5-7 years of prior experience in CPG marketing and/or communications space.
The ideal candidate will also:
- Be an agile self-starter who can wear many hats while remaining organized and on-task
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize to complete all tasks within the allotted timeframe
- Exhibit politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
- Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
