Summary
Perdue AgriBusiness has an opening for a Weighing & Grading Operator in Church Hill, MD. This position will be responsible for weighing, obtaining, preparing, testing and grading grain samples from inbound and outbound shipments. Other duties include responding to customers regarding account information and performing housekeeping in work area and other areas of the grain facility as required.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect grain samples using automated or manual grain probe and other equipment as required.
- Inspect and test grain for all factors per requirements and procedures.
- Provide weighing of inbound and outbound grain shipments per requirements and procedures.
- Complete grain data entry forms and documentation per requirements and procedures.
- Maintain proper set-up, inspection, and calibration of grain testing and weighing equipment per requirements and procedures
- Provide customer support to include answering telephones, working with customers on account information, and making edits.
- Maintain housekeeping in work area and perform housekeeping in other areas throughout the grain facility
- Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
0 to 3 years of experience.
Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Walking, bending, twisting.
Exposure to temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db), grain dust, and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
Able to use standard office and communication equipment.
