Job Description

I have a full time opportunity for an HRIS Manager to join one of our top tier clients in Hartford CT. This role can be fully remote with onsite visits to Hartford on a quarterly basis. This is a Senior role managing 3-4 HRIS Analysts within the organization. Key skills would be someone with Ceridian but Oracle, Peoplesoft or Workday is also acceptable. Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and manage HRIS related business processes, application configuration, efficiency, enhancements and system interfaces with other internal and third-party systems/solutions for a number of HR centric applications such as Ceridian Dayforce, iCIMS, CrossKnowledge and Cegid.
  • Manage all and any related HRIS system migrations and acquisition integrations as it related to the core HCM, ATS, or performance management systems
  • Provide support for all HRIS systems including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Assist HR and end users with systems issues.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate HRIS activities to maximize the effectiveness of human resources functions.
  • Manage 3-4 HRIS Analysts who work daily with Ceridian, iCims, and Workday
  • Provide oversight and coordination to the HRIS Analysts on a daily basis in regards to projects and daily duties to avoid overlap.
  • Manage all aspects for 3rd party vendors as it relates to Ceridian, Workday or ATS support
  • Provide subject matter expertise to human resources, regarding human resources systems, applications and data process flows.
  • Provide support for all HRIS systems including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Assist HR and end users with systems issues.
  • Write, maintain, support and analyze a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development and analyzing of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Assist in development of all procedures and polices related to Human Resources technology systems.
  • Continuous assessment and evaluation of business processes, recommend efficiencies and automation, and provide enhancements and configurations through the use of technology to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead technical projects of varying scales as assigned, to ensure projects are on-time and fully deliver expected value to the business.
  • Responsible for integration and development support for applications across the enterprise which integrates into existing HRIS infrastructure and new HR Technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferrable in HR
  • Solid experience in using a Human Resource Information System, preference in Ceridian, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP or Workday
  • Minimum of five years of relevant HRIS experience including system administration and project management.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing direct reports, at least leading virtual/dotted line project teams of people who don’t report directly.
  • In depth understanding of employee life cycles as it relates to HR internal processes (recruiting, career progressions, terminations, benefits, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects occurring on tight deadlines and timeframes
  • Direct the design, selection and implementation or modification of HR technology solutions. Improve the HR Technology data structure for Compensation and Job Codes, Market data, and compensation planning administration.
  • Effectively manage workforce analytics by maintaining and improving reports to provide insight for decision-support.
  • Manage maintenance and accuracy and integrity of employee data, for reporting and distribution.
  • Manage and oversee HRIS projects that will include system upgrades and implementations, data migrations, acquisition integrations, system consolidations and standardization.
