- ILST - Independent Life Skills Trainers ( ABI Wavier Program Agency Provider )
Perfect Care is currently hiring team members to work with brain injury survivors within their personal homes.
Candidates should possess at least one-two years of experience working with individuals who have suffered strokes, concussions, anoxia, hypoxia, closed brain injury, open (penetrating) brain injury, acquired brain injuries, traumatic brain injuries within community settings.
Essential Duties:
Provide direct line of sight supervision to our ABI client/clients, teaching vocational and life skills.
Staff is expected to work towards designated program goals with their assigned client/clients and aid them with all aspects of community integration.
Job Description:
Responsible to supervise their assigned client/clients progress towards their documented independent life skills goals.
Provide direct line of sight supervision to the assigned client/clients to ensure the continued delivery of quality client focused services while promoting the independence, health and safety of each client.
Required license or certification:
Drivers License
Criminal background check required
Experience: 1 y / 2 years
- Must Possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
