POSITION TITLE: Assistant Supervisor - Finishing Department (3rd Shift)
Responsible for assisting supervisor in the management of a team of 20 employees, comprised of primarily machine operators. Responsible for assisting in the production output and efficiency of the 3rd Shift Finishing Department. Working in conjunction with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure we are meeting company expectations and client demand.
Current Shift Availability:
3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with full benefits offered (i.e. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Match, EAP and more).
Position pay commensurate with \experience in a manufacturing setting: $23 - $28/hour. Annual profit sharing, bonus consideration and cost of living increases available.
New hire bonus: $250 every quarter, up to 1 year, totaling $1,000!. Get paid Every Friday!!!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist supervisor in conducting standardized employee training to Machine Operators, according to Company and OEM set-up guidelines.
- Responsible for meeting set-up productivity, efficiencies and quality performance outputs on assigned shift.
- Assist supervisor in the facilitation of cross training program for Machine Operators.
- Accountable Assist supervisor in maintaining all machinery in optimal working order.
- Assist supervisor in staffing Machine Operators, in support of the daily finishing schedule.
- Responsible to operate machines as necessary, meeting the established productivity, quality and efficiency standards as required.
- Responsible for covering supervisor responsibilities during vacations, absences,
- Provide regular feedback and training to Machine Operators to help support their efforts in meeting the required production outputs.
- Perform necessary internal and external maintenance of equipment, according to company protocol.
- Develop and deliver employee Performance Reviews
- Ensure that all paperwork and data gathering requirements are being met.
- Ensure that all machines are within acceptable allowable scrap standards.
- Follow, maintain, and document (as required), all applicable SOP’s.
- Read and understand job ticket specifications. Ability to comprehend and communicate all instructions, and identify and communicate errors or problems.
- Responsible for performing and documenting first piece approval. Ensure all quality standards (including testing requirements) are met. Maintains accuracy and process liability of finished product.
- Must meet or exceed established company set-up and/or production time standards.
- Thorough technical knowledge to perform standardized (documented) set-ups on the following machines: Burkle Laminator, Steamer Laminators, Collators 1,2, 3, Louda Die Cutter, Oasys Die Cutter, PMC Die Cutter, Oasys Stampers, Ink Jet Machine.
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve routine machine adjustments
- Maintains established machine safety requirements.
- Follows daily production schedule requirements.
- Responsible for performing normal machine repairs, as outlined by the company.
- Maintains all production and maintenance support documentation requirements, including logic, machine log books, etc.
- Responsible to issue machine work orders.
- Responsible to providing “Lock Out” procedures on machines that need be repaired or taken out of service. Communicate with necessary departments (Maintenance, etc.).
- Communicate ongoing technical and diagnostic support to the Maintenance Supervisor, including PMs, improvements, and other related issues.
- Performs other duties as required by shift supervision/management.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
