What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Front Desk position at Performance Foot & Ankle Specialists, LLC?
Performance Foot & Ankle Specialists, LLC currently has an opening for an experienced Medical Assistant with strong knowledge of insurance and billing.
Hours are approximately 30-35 hours a week. This position is a 4 day work week, Fridays off, working in both our Waterbury and Newtown locations.
Exceptional customer service skills are a must as you will serve as the first point of contact at our front desk as you address the needs of our patients. You will contribute to the coordination and administration of front desk activities and operations. Job duties will include, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, validating insurance, checking patients in/out, answering multi-line phone system, processing payments, collections, authorizations and working closely with our billing company to resolve billing issues.
Professional attitude and ability to work as a team is a must.
Hours:
Monday 8-5 Newtown office
Tuesday & Wednesday 8-5 Waterbury office
Thursday 7-3:30 Waterbury office
CPR certified required.
Proof of Covid vaccine required for employment
