Description
Summary:
Coordinates activities of workers engaged in recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll.
- Processes new or changed pay rates with payroll and/or computer files.
- Computation of pay according to company policy.
- Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
- Reviews payroll information to ensure accuracy.
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of procedures.
- Adjusts errors and complaints.
- Position is full-time and on-site.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
