Perfumania is looking for a Sales Associate to join our team in Sevierville, TN.
Job Summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring customers have the products and services they need.
Essential Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store
- Provide accurate and friendly service, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Answer customer questions about products or services
- Complete transactions in a timely manner and accurately
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work environment
- Handle sales and returns of merchandise in inventory using proper procedures
- Maintain inventory control of merchandise in the store
- Maintain the store, including cleaning, restocking, removing trash, etc.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and practices including security protocols and procedures.
- Participate in all activities related to the store’s opening and closing procedures, including inventory control, receiving, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. GED is preferred.
- Previous retail experience is required. Sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc.)and apply these to problems to determine the outcome of a decision.
- Must be able to provide accurate information to customers about products or services.
- Demonstrate good customer service skills. This includes customer service skills related to providing information about products or services; responding promptly to customer inquiries; resolving problems; maintaining customer satisfaction; ensuring store appearance/cleanliness; accepting payments/debts; replacing merchandise as necessary; restocking merchandise; maintaining store appearance/cleanness).
