lso keep residents informed about their appointments and ensure they're ready on time. When there are no scheduled appointments, you may be asked to assist with other duties as needed. *Responsibilities:* * Ensure the safety of residents, employees, and the public. * Efficiently prioritize and coordinate daily transportation schedules. * Help coordinate resident appointments and ensure timely transportation. * Deliver accompanying paperwork (scripts, orders, follow-up information) to the appropriate personnel at appointments and upon return. * Assist residents into and out of vehicles and appointment locations to ensure they arrive at the correct destinations. * Keep a cell phone and/or walkie-talkie with you at all times to stay in communication with residents and facility staff. * Assist in other facility areas when no appointments are scheduled, such as C.N.A. duties, passing ice, and delivering laundry. * Interact with patients and customers of various ages in a pleasant and respectful manner * Engage with clients and their families to understand their needs better. Work with nursing home administrators and staff to ensure compliance with service standards. * Be mindful of where the company vehicle is parked, considering the company logo displayed prominently on the vehicle. This position requires the ability to perform routine heavy lifting, stand for long periods, move intermittently throughout the workday, sit, crouch, lift, push, pull, balance, and operate and assemble durable medical equipment. The ability to read and write legibly is also required. Employees must show a professional and courteous attitude, abide by the professional code of ethics, and show respect for others.
