ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sells all phases of termite, pest control, wildlife, and insulation service contracts.
- Inspects and issues Wood Infestation Inspection Reports as needed.
- Represents our company with professional appearances and attitudes at all time, and to maintain all equipment in the same manner.
- Furnishes accurate and complete graphs on all structures that require graphs with service agreements.
- Completes all required forms and paperwork to ensure quality in completed work for all services.
- The sales representative will work cooperatively with other members of the service team to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products, services, and solutions.
- Recommend alternate services based on specifications.
- Present price and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profitability profiles.
- Accurately process customer transactions such as quotes, proposals, listing letters, and clearance letters
- Provide accurate information regarding sales numbers, scheduling, and self-generated leads according to company standard operating procedures.
- Obtain accurate information from potential customers and relay the information to the service representative in that area.
- Proactively recommend items and services needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve sales productivity and profitability.
- Increase sales and average profit size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, warranty transfers, cold calling, cancellation reinstatements, and offering promotional services daily.
- Educate customers about terminology, entomology, and benefits of services in order to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor scheduled appointment dates to ensure appointments are made and expedite service as needed.
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and to resolve any complaints.
- Remain current on consumer preferences, by attending sales meetings, vendor training, realtor training, trade shows, community events, and attending continuing education classes.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the Peachtree Pest Control team.
- Communicate to the management department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for service.
- Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal, and other common office equipment and software.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and phone skills.

- Learn and display technical expertise and knowledge of industry services and products.

- It is important the IPM Consultants use accuracy and attention to detail.

- Must be able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.).
- Must be a team player who works productively with wide range of people.

Experience and Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch for long periods of time.
- Must be able to carry, lift, and climb up to a 6 ft. ladder.
- Work on a residential construction job site in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
