YOUR LIFE AS AN ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
This full- or part-time cleaning position has the option to work flexible shifts with availability on at least one weekend day. Being able to work holidays would be a huge plus. Please let us know your availability during the interview!
In this full- or part-time pet care position, you are responsible for assisting our counselors in the day-to-day care of our dog campers. You check on each dog camper throughout the day, ensuring that they always have clean water and bedding available to them. While interacting with dogs of all shapes and sizes, you conduct one-on-one VIP play sessions and take the dogs out to the yard for bathroom breaks. You perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure our facility is in tip-top shape, which includes washing dishes, tidying up play spaces, general sweeping, and washing and folding laundry.
In addition, you keep our campsites in good working conditions. You move dogs between campsites when required and make sure each animal camper is always accounted for. The job can sometimes be challenging but having the opportunity to work with animals each day always puts a smile on your face. You enjoy serving in such an important role with our camp, which is why you thrive in this position!
