Petco is a category-defining health and wellness company focused on improving the lives of pets, pet parents and Petco partners. We are 29,000 strong, working together across 1,500 pet care centers, 250 Vetco Total Care hospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, eight distribution centers and two support centers.   

Responsilities:

  • Own project work and support important projects owned by team members across functional for the largest and fastest growing marketing channels  

  • Own the executional aspect - campaign setup, pacing, optimization, creative rotation, etc. 

  • Create / maintain documentation to educate our team (and business) on tools, key concepts 

  • Co-develop key metrics for operations and build models to measure team impact 

  • Design and optimize processes from current state to future state to ensure more customer centricity and drive implementation of new processes and ideas 

  • Accountable for the implementation of cross media execution and ensure seamless delivery of best practice and processes 

  • Scope and deliver complex, business critical programs end-to-end and drive and shape the overall program’s strategy and roadmap. 

  • Define business and systems requirements working with internal and external teams 

  • Track delivery against program objectives and implement proposals to improve program services and efficiencies. 

  • Defines, teaches, and enforces the use of good project management practices such as techniques in resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionality to define and deliver successful Go-To-Market strategies 

  • Analyze complex business problems using data and develop insights and strategies to solve business problems and improve productivity 

  • Use cross-functional knowledge to understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence our partners and our work. Identify problems and issues across the organization and create programs and/or processes to solve them. 

  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and managing the project timeline, budget, and resources. 

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and status reports, and communicating project status to stakeholders and management or Summery Buckets  

  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient design processes and workflows to increase productivity, minimize bottlenecks, and improve overall operational efficiency.  

  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end design sprint lifecycle, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and delivery of design assets, design Jira tickets, and design documentation.  

  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture by establishing effective communication channels, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and promoting knowledge sharing within the design team and with other departments.  

  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and brand integrity across all product design.  

  • Tools and Systems: Evaluate, implement, and maintain design tools, software, and project management systems that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design team.  

  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for design projects, monitor progress, and provide regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and team performance to stakeholders.  

  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and develop training programs to foster professional growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.  

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as product managers, developers, and strategy teams, to align design objectives with business goals and ensure successful project outcomes.  

 

Qualifications 

  • 6-10 years of project management experience 

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred 

  • PMP certification required  

  • Proven ability to influence across the organization, including with members of Leadership. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to flawlessly multi-task and thrive under pressure and strict deadlines. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in SQL a plus. 

  • Flexibility to travel domestically when needed. 

  • Thrive in fast-paced culture with ability to make decisions even when dealing with ambiguity.

  • Ability to thrive in gray area and independently chart a course for execution 

  • A go-getting attitude who is passionate about driving business results and working in a fast-paced environment 

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

$101,900.00 - $152,800.00
