Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide accurate and timely information to management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Utilize technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks using software such as Xero, Quicken, or other accounting systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices, including budgeting and financial report writing.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, or similar programs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends or issues.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
