We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work at our King Cove, AK location. The Project Manager will follow and track all projects from the beginning to the end to ensure all projects are complete within the budget and timeline by disrupting production throughput.
Main Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage projects in King Cove: coordinating with plant management, mechanic staff, contractors, and production dept.
- Analyze project scope, vendor lead times, and commitments to establish a viable delivery and installation timeline
- Review vendor acknowledgements and estimated delivery dates for accuracy and alignment with project timeline and commitments.
- Review, assimilate and confirm accuracy of project site plans, design presentations, project paperwork, product specifications and contracts.
- Lead in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information
- Provide management of project logistics, organization, systems, and personnel resources
- Transfer documentation of Capital Project Operating and Maintenance knowledge and provide start-up assistance to ensure operating staff is adequately trained to utilize new equipment and constructed facilities.
- Provide all services and objectives for the application of PPSC's quality services
- Ensures contractors, architects, and engineers will adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment
- Ensure project closeout to secure appropriate provisions for final project delivery to owner entities
Requirements
At least 2 years experience as a Project Manager;
Experience in the industry highly desired;
