The Role:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will prepare, post, verify, and record customer transactions. They will create and send invoices according to company policy and update customer files.
What You'll Do:
- Training will be in-person. Once training is completed and we feel you are comfortable with the role, you will convert to hybrid home/office (you will need a dedicated area to work at home).
- Be available to work 4-8 hours one weekend per month remotely.
- Support multiple Functions in the accounts receivable area.
- Cross train and support different functions in AR.
- Perform collection calls to customers with outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with service departments on invoices and billing issues.
- Remain organized with open tasks and invoices for customers.
- Communicate well with team members.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Microsoft Excel Proficient, experience with accounting software may be required.
- High School Diploma or GED
The willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as the regulations established by the company.
