We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Continuous Improvement team to plan, oversee, and implement larger and highly complex projects. This individual will ensure initiatives are completed within scope, meet deadline criteria, are within budget, and meet high quality standards to achieve ROI targets.
The Role
You will provide operational project management which includes all aspects of the project lifecycle to satisfy the needs of Stakeholders. You will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of Peterman's goals and vision. You will immerse yourself in a wide variety of projects from developing value stream mapping and as-is process to M&A Integrations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement assigned projects, from original concept through final implementation.
- Document current and future state via value stream mapping/as-is process diagrams and develop future state recommendations.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage scope, resource, communication, financial, and risk plans for all assigned projects.
- Build and distribute project reports and ensure the stability of the project work effort to achieve target goals.
- Manage and monitor work efforts daily to identify resource needs, perform quality reviews.
- Escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues as appropriate.
- Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet customer needs and requirements.
- Coordinate communication with all enterprise areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.
- Perform as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to high quality standards.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure targeted ROI estimate is achieved.

What You'll Need
- 4 years of Project Management Experience (Required)
- Experience with M&A Integration initiatives (Preferred)
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Business (Preferred)
- PMP and/or Lean Six-Sigma Certified (Preferred)
- Ability to travel as needed
- Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in resource management, change management, and M&A integrations
- Be detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management
- Problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to level business and technical expertise across disciplines
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and handle ambiguity
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
