When it comes to company principles and values, we seek to lead, not follow.  Yes, we work very hard, but we also have fun too.  Our Opportunity: The Data Developer / Analyst II will be responsible for Business Intelligence (BI) software administration, development and working closely with the Business reporting and analytics teams to meet their needs.  This position will provide support to various business teams to help drive revenue, margin, and other key business outcomes.  This role is part of the Information Technology team at PetIQ, partnering and collaborating across diverse internal business and IT functions.  This position will have the opportunity to learn from team members with many years of experience, allowing for potential for growth within the organization.   What You’ll Do: §  Play an instrumental role supporting the Data Warehouse strategy and Business Intelligence initiatives. §  Based on business needs, gather requirements for Data Warehouse improvements and translate them to high level design documents. §  Provide leadership to ETL tasks and support production Data Warehouse load issues as needed. §  Establish, maintain and promote consistent methodology for analytics deployment. §  Create queries to support data analysis and ad hoc information requests to leverage analytics that are presented in a way that is consumable to business teams §  Analyze, design, develop, implement and support Business Intelligence solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications §  Administrate BI tool and develop data models to support business analytical needs §  Design and implement dynamic dashboards, leveraging tool charting capabilities. §  Mine, cleanse and organize data to produce executive reporting and KPI’s §  Ensure smooth delivery and support of new reporting tools. §  Keep up-to-date documentation for all new and updated user tools. §  Maintain technical documentation and ensure that knowledge is shared with other members of the team. §  Assist with and lead key elements of the weekly and monthly reporting and analytics for the internal PetIQ team and external supplier partners and customers. §  Work collaboratively with the business teams to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives. What You’ll NEED: §  College Degree or equivalent experience; Business/Technical or related field preferred §  2 – 5 years’ experience in the Business Intelligence space §  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers §  Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. §  Demonstrated experience with business analytics, forecasting, reporting §  Expertise in understanding business process flow and designing reports with demonstrated experience in requirement gathering, business user interactions and converting requirements into specifications §  Passion for Data §  Willingness to learn new BI tools like Sisense §  Must be a self-starter §  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel initiatives and manage priorities §  Limited travel (less than 25%) required §  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet unexpected and tight deadlines, and work well under pressure – all while having fun and maintaining a positive attitude  Physical Requirements: §  Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. §  Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards §  Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs §  Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone   You can read more about our privacy policy here.
