Role: Head of Business Development
This is Senior Manager/ Head level role for the position of Head of Business Development
What you will be doing:
- Proactively identify and engage Amazon seller prospects through video, phone, and email communications.
- Lead the development and execution of highly targeted and well-researched outbound email campaigns followed by phone outreach.
- Oversee and maintain an accurate, high-quality pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring thorough tracking and forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to brief on exciting new initiatives, market trends, and strategic opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Amazon sellers, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive and manage a target-driven environment, consistently monitoring and achieving sales goals.
- Mentor and guide the business development team, ensuring their growth and alignment with company objectives.
- Utilize data insights to refine outreach strategies and enhance client acquisition processes.
- Represent SwiftStart at industry events and networking opportunities to expand our market presence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in Amazon or e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the eCommerce industry, particularly Amazon's marketplace dynamics and trends.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and building strategic partnerships.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and using insights to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM software, sales automation tools, and other relevant technology.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
