Service Manager

We are seeking a service manager to oversee all aspects of the Service of your branch. Hire, train, and develop personnel as well as ensure that the overall operation of the branch follows rules, regulations, guidelines, and policies set forth by the regulating bodies and Rockit Pest

Essential Functions (include but not limited to):

• Manage and train all Service Professionals to follow all state and federal regulations and to ensure quality service to all customers by leading by example, always being professional in speech, dress, and action.
• Conduct new employee training, inspect, and ensure all field training checkoff lists are fully completed.
• Confirm the state registration exam was passed before allowing the employee to work alone.
• Maintain proper inventory of products and equipment related to the Service Professional's job functions.
• Ensure all Service Professionals are performing appropriate treatments and performing thorough and accurate inspections for wood destroying organisms and pest issues.
• Respond to incoming calls and identify the client's needs or potential client by coordinating inspections for pests and termites.
• Initiate phone calls to coordinate service of existing clients and answer questions regarding billing, service or specific questions involving terms of service, treatment options, and conditions that might contribute to the activity of certain pests.
• Travel to customer locations to inspect and evaluate services.
• Supervise the daily activities of all Service Professionals.
• Physical demands of the job should include sitting, standing, bending, and lifting. Of course, given our business, you should be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics when necessary
• Review production and performance of employees according to company guidelines.
• Maintain and safely operate fleet vehicle(s).
• Conduct branch and vehicle inspections and take necessary actions.
• Ensure that Service Professionals and office reflect the appropriate Company image including uniforms, guidelines, and vehicle appearance.
• Pursue all relevant Certifications in Mosquito, Pest Control, and Termite Control as quickly as possible.
• Maintain certifications and licenses required to operate a branch in the state.
• Ensure all registered and certified sales and service professionals maintain required hours.
• Audit all service agreements and accompanying paperwork.
• Participate in and conduct required meetings.
• Communicate issues related to daily performance
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possess current driver's license
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Must maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing exams
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, squatting, and crawling.
• Pervious experience as a service manager highly desired

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
