Deli Associate
Job Summary:
Deli Associates are responsible for the day-to-day duties which provide a superior customer service experience. Store associates are to divide daily duties up equally and contribute equally to the success of the store.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen by completing all inside assigned duties.
- Work as a member of the customer service team by ensuring excellent product presentation and treating each customer with respect
- Be a representative of the company by following standards, guidelines and policies
- Complete all expectations of shift duties and assignments
- Serves customers by helping them select products
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
- Responds to customers’ questions
- Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters
- Alerts management of potential security issues
- Assists with inventory by receiving and stocking merchandise
Required Skills/Abilities
- Cooperate with vendors and team members by contributing equally to shared job duties
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Complete paperwork accurately with attention to detail
- Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods on feet while working the cash register and cleaning the store
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
