Petrotechnical Resources of Alaska is looking for a Logistics Contract Specialist.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Contract Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of agreements for the transportation of personnel, equipment, and materials; camps and other accommodation agreements; all other agreements necessary to support the logistics function.
This role works closely with the function leaders, as well as other key stakeholders (i.e. HSES, Drilling & Completions, Facilities) to ensure optimal selection of contractors and manage the delivery of outcomes to support OSA’s logistics contract requirements in a timely manner.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Ten years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum 5 years’ broad experience in contracts or purchasing with 3 or more years’ experience with logistics contracts.
Sound knowledge of contracting principles, theories, and concepts.
Experience in oil and gas logistics contracts.
Contractor management and contracts administration knowledge and experience.
Proficient in oral and written communications.
Effective interpersonal skills required to interact at all levels of seniority.
